If You’d Like to Blame Someone for the Snow, Look to Me!

13 - 103

It snowed here in Minnesota. A cold, wet snow in the middle of April. Just when we thought it was all over, the snow came back with icy fury.

If I am not entirely to blame for the snow (and reason states that I am not) I do have to take some responsibility for it as I broke the first rule of potty training: Make sure the child goes to the potty before leaving the house.

I wasn’t thinking of anything aside from getting outside to shovel the snow. And sure enough, just as we were getting to the front sidewalk I hear this whiny, cute voice saying “I have to go potty, I haaaaveee to goooo poootttyyy.”

You’d think I’d have learned that potty training lesson by now. But no!

In we go and off goes the coat, the boots, the snowpants, the hat and mittens. Into the potty and back outside, but not before we both had to re-suit-up.

And that is why, my friends, I will take the blame if’n you need to blame someone. My fault on all accounts (oh, did I forget to mention that I kind of enjoyed the snow?). Surely this will all be forgotten by the time warmer weather hits, right?
