Emotionally Intellectual. I feel I have always been emotionally in tune with friends, family and myself. Possibly a little too emotionally involved. But it has kept me from never being bored. I honestly don’t think I have ever been bored.

I am a mother to a beautiful, happy, silly little toddler girl. A wife to the most even keeled man I have ever met. And a friend to a wide variety of awesome talents and ages.

I feel off if I have not been outside for an extended period of time. My husband and I met working in the outdoors and we continue to go on outdoor adventures with our daughter. Whether that be at the near by park, boundary waters, mountains, lakes, rivers, creeks. Wherever we can breathe the fresh air, and, hopefully, drink the clean water.

I am an art teacher and I currently stay home with my daughter in good old Northeast Minneapolis. I hope to share photos and art lessons on this blog as I experiment on my own and with my daughter the joys and obstacles, with a multitude of art materials, visual literacy. She has been drawing and painting since she was one. I continue to be intrigued by her intentional marks and growth of how she decides to fill the blank space of a paper.

Entrepreneurialism is in my future. I just know it. This blog space might just be the extra motivation I need to keep art a strong part of my life and to take that extra leap into creating my own business!

Thank you for reading and I hope you will feel free to respond to my posts throughout this adventure.
